Navigating This Messy Life

“Life is a Blessed mess and we’re all just trying to navigate through it.” - Unknown

It’s true, even in this messy life, you are Blessed. Sometimes it is just harder to see because of all of life’s challenges.

Start your navigation with a Positive Attitude and Perspective!

My Oncologist, at the beginning of my cancer journey, told me my Positive Attitude would be the number one thing that would help me navigate through and fight the disease and recover.

Often, we don’t understand how important the way we think affects our health and our life.

A Positive Perspective is so important, and the realization we need help along the way.

Psalm 118:14 says, “The LORD is my strength and my defense.”

God and Community give us strength..

Jesus meets us in the mess of life! I believe He is faithful and can guide us through any tough circumstance.

Community can also help us navigate through the mess.

Whatever you believe, hold onto Hope as you travel through this journey we call life.

"Life is a journey, not a destination." –Ralph Waldo Emerson

As we travel through, we become stronger and learn so much if we are present and paying attention.

But life can be risky.

You have to put yourself out there at times to get your bearings and navigate the path you were created for.

“Everything in life has some risk, and what you actually have to learn to do is how to navigate it.” Reid Hoffman

As you learn, you create knowledge you can share with others.

When we help others going through their own challenges in life, we become stronger and gain satisfaction as we live life significantly and purposefully.

As John C. Maxwell says, “Sometimes you win… Sometimes you learn.”

Life does not always go the way we planned, and it can get real messy at times no matter what we do.

So, where do you go from here?

If you are in the middle of the mess, what do you do?

Start by checking your Perspective. How you are looking at your life journey.

I ran across a coach named Krista online. She had some good things to say about life’s messy journey.

The truth is… “A beautiful and meaningful life is messy!” -Krista

It is!

You can’t get away from it all together, so your perspective and how you deal with it makes all the difference.

“What if we accept that it’s all messy, stop looking for perfect, and embrace what is.” -Krita

And there it is… Embrace what is, and move forward in spite of our messy circumstances.

Remember, “Life Happens… and then You Choose!”

You can overcome the mess of life by choosing a good perspective and a good mindset.

This messy life is worth the fight! Hold onto Hope, and remain strong! There are Awesome Days ahead!

The life you choose is up to you.
