Be Still
We lead busy lives.
We are on the move constantly and sometimes lose sight of our purpose.
Why did you get up this morning?
Purpose is so important, and sometimes to have the direction you need, and to align with your true purpose, you have to be still, knowing there are things bigger than yourself at work.
I love Psalm 46:10 that says, “Be Still and know that I am God.”
As a man of faith, I trust God and know that sometimes I just have to let go, and let God do His work.
He aligns my purpose in life.
How about you? Are you focused on your purpose in life?
Are you trying to go it alone, or are you trusting in something bigger than yourself?
If you have a pulse, you still have purpose.
You are still a work in progress, we all are, but taking time, being still is so important to make sure you are on the right path.
It’s not always easy.
I love this quote by Kirk Franklin: “Now everyday ain’t gonna be perfect, but it still don’t mean today don’t have purpose.”
And in the midst of life’s imperfections, you have a job to do, but it starts with you, and giving yourself space to align with your purpose.
You don’t have to be pushed into your purpose, it is God-given.
"If you have a strong purpose in life, you don't have to be pushed. Your passion will drive you there." Roy T. Bennett
When you are passionate about something it is a good sign you are on the right path… the path that God created for you.
“Learning how to be still, to really be still and let life happen - that stillness becomes a radiance.” - Morgan Freeman
You will radiate purpose and the wisdom that you were created to live out.
It will bring significance in your life and the lives of others.
“In the midst of movement and chaos, keep stillness inside of you.” - Deepak Chopra
This stillness that you can choose each morning, can give you mental peace throughout your day.
This is how you will sustain your purpose and significance in this life.
This is what you were created for.
