Collaboration Over Isolation

Are you collaborating and working with others, or isolating yourself?

I have come to believe that we are Better Together!

Trying to go it alone is where we run into problems.

We need each other.

“God doesn't intend for you to handle all the pain and stress in your life by yourself. We were wired for each other. We need each other.” - Rick Warren

We gain strength for others. We were created for community, to work together and do life together. Through the challenges and the good times.

Working with others can bring joy into our lives.

“We need Joy as we need air. We need Love as we need water. We need each other as we need the earth we share.” - Maya Angelou

Let me say it again… We Need Each Other!

I love sports and I believe there are great lessons in sports.

Vince Lombardi said, “Individual commitment to a group effort—that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work.”

We all do our part and our individual commitment to our team, something bigger than ourselves, gives us so much more opportunity. Collaboration is the key to success. Have I mentioned yet that we are better together!

We need to come together and stay together. This is how we find success.

“Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.” - Henry Ford

It takes work to stay together, but with the right perspective on life and the intentional willingness to collaborate, it can be done.

You can do incredible things with some effort and the help of others, and by being intentional about who you work with.

Franklin D. Roosevelt said it best, “I’m not the smartest fellow in the world, but I sure can pick smart colleagues.”

When we intentionally pick great people, we become better.

I love to quote by Jim Rohn “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.”

So who are you in community with?

You should never be the smartest person in the room. You need to associate with the people you aspire to become. I don’t mean copying them. Be authentic, and use their  example of where you want to go and who you want to become. Make it your own.

It is your springboard to success.

“If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself.” - Henry Ford

That is so true. You can have some success on your own, but it is the teamwork that makes the dream work!

Take it from someone who has done a bit of winning, “Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships.” - Michael Jordan

You can be a champion in whatever you do, if you intentionally put your mind to it and associate and collaborate with great people.

The Choice is yours.

You get to “Live the Life You Choose!”

Blessings!
