I like what Norman Vincent Peale says, “One person can make a difference. You don't have to be a big shot. You don't have to have a lot of influence. You just have to have faith in your power to change things.”
And faith plays a huge role in it for me. I believe there is something so much bigger than us, and a God who gives us strength.
And Direction.
And Hope.
And Peace.
And Clarity.
But we have to be in alignment with Him and with ourselves. It is so important to be intentional and have purpose in all we do. This brings Alignment.
I love what Jer 29:11 says, “I know the plans that I have for you, declares the LORD. They are plans for peace and not disaster, plans to give you a future filled with hope.”
We can know we have purpose and a God who gives us strength. It is bigger than us and we do not have to have it all together. We just have to keep moving forward. One step at a time.
When you are intentionally seeking clarity and purpose, the alignment with God and yourself becomes a reality. But it is not always easy.
But you can do it, one little bit at a time.
“Do your little bit of good where you are; it is those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.” - Archbishop Desmond Tutu
You don’t have to have all the answers.
You don’t have to see the whole journey ahead.
Enjoy your journey one step at a time.
As Martin Luther King Jr. said, “You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step."
So take the first step.
Start your journey.
You will be better for it, and so will the people around you.
And, you will find clarity, alignment and purpose for yourself and your life.
