Feeling Like A Failure?

I have had my moments lately. Struggling through my health and business.

There are times I feel down and like a heavy weight is on my shoulders. I feel unable to do what I think I need to do to be successful and provide for my family.

I feel like I am failing.

Then I remember that my feelings and circumstances do not define me. I serve a Big God who is right beside me through it all.

We all fail to achieve what we want to accomplish at times… it is human nature.

We are not perfect.

We need to hold on.

"Just because you fail once doesn't mean you're going to fail at everything. Keep trying, hold on, and always, always, always believe in yourself, because if you don’t, then who will?” - Marilyn Monroe

I have learned to believe in myself, because I know God, my family and friends do.

It is just working through life and what works for you, because not everything does.

I love what Thomas A. Edison said "I haven't failed, I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work"

Life is a process and finding out what works for you, in your situation of life, health, surroundings, takes time.

This road we walk can be winding and messy.

Life is just plain messy at times, but it is not the end of your road.

“Failure is a bend in the road, not the end of the road. Learn from failure and keep moving forward.” - Roy T. Bennett

You need to keep learning and growing

You accomplish more in your life through adversity than when everything is moving smoothly. I know we prefer that, but without challenges we become complacent and lose our focus on becoming better.

The cancer journey I am on has helped me become more focused, intentional, and given me more opportunities to accomplish things I might not have ever thought possible.

What seems like a failure is just the process of growing better and stronger, if that is the way you look at it.

Michael Jordan said…

"I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over, and over, and over again, and that is why I succeed.”

You succeed through intentional practice, growth, and choosing significance. For it is significance, not success that you should be aiming for.

Every moment in life counts.

Each step you take is an opportunity to do something significant.

"Failure is another stepping stone to greatness" - Oprah Winfrey

So today, choose to keep moving forward.

Choose to hang on.

You are not a failure, you are a person of value and significance.

Remember, You can Live the Life You Choose!

Blessings!
